Job Description
Kings is looking for experienced, energetic Dining & Entertainment Managers!A Kings Dining & Entertainment Manager provides leadership to ensure the training and development of team members by providing clear direction and providing knowledge, the operation of the dining and entertainment desks, cleanliness and organization according to health department standards, and a desire to consistently exceed guest expectations. The primary measurement of their performance is increasing sales by creating guest loyalty through enhancing guest experiences by executing service standards and exceeding the expectations of our guests.Dining & Entertainment Manager Responsibilities:Participates in or leads daily pre-meals, weekly manager meetings, and one on one coaching sessions. Ensures team member paperwork, onboarding, orientation, certifications, and training materials are completed and understood. Meets all staffing pars in their department and ensures positive guest experiences and business growth. Reduces turnover in the department by making genuine connections and earning trust with the team. Focuses on eliminating “Anonymous” service through making connections with guests and exceeding their expectations. Analyzes previous sales, upcoming booked events, promotions, special events, local impact events and holidays to forecast the future and ensure proper coverage and preparation. Knows and understands the product. Learns and becomes fluent in the entertainment options offered at their venue.Maintains communication with the sales team on Dine-Then-Bowl availability and consistently converts phone calls into events/reservations. Manages supply costs to budget by keeping and maintaining a declining budget every month. Provides team the supplies needed to do their job and never sacrifices guest service for keeping supplies cost down. Monitors and confirms all Dinner & Entertainment reservations and sets aggressive pars on the reservation system to ensure positive sales growth over last year. Confirms accurate punches for the previous and current day in point of sales system based on scheduled in and out times. Requirements 7 day a week plus holiday availability, 50+ hours. Strong hospitality and guest service skills. Demonstrated time management & organizational skills. Previous experience in restaurant/bar positions. Maintains a professional appearance according to Kings standards.
