Part Time HR Client Manager
Great opportunity for an HR Admin or HR Coordinator to take the next step in their career!
A well-established HR Consulting Firm in Acton, MA is looking for a part time HR Client Manager to service our North American client base.  Ideal candidates will be detail oriented, organized, have excellent customer service skills and work well in a fast paced, dynamic environment. 
Essential Functions
  1. Advising management on the administration of human resources policies and procedures
  2. Serving as an internal consultant by analyzing a company’s current HR programs and recommending solutions
  3. Developing, revising, and implementing HR policies and procedures
  4. Ensuring HR programs and services are in compliance with established policies and procedures and state/federal laws and regulations
  5. Preparing and maintaining reports related to specific HR projects
  6. Assisting with the development and coordination of recommended changes regarding workflow
  7. Conducting audits of HR activities to ensure compliance
  8. Presenting training sessions related to specific HR programs
Qualifications and Skills
  1. 2 to 3 years progressive HR Generalist experience, preferably in a small business and/or start-up environment
  2. SHRM certified (or similar) preferred
  3. Knowledgeable with general employment laws and practices across the United States
  4. Prior consulting experience a plus; proven ability to retain clients and deliver results
  5. Flexibility and multi-tasking; ability to undertake several tasks simultaneously and manage them effectively
  6. Proficiency in MS Office and HRIS applications
  7. Excellent written and verbal communication skills; confident and effective in explaining concepts and situations to employees at all levels
  8. Ability to maintain high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, poise, tact, and diplomacy to accomplish work objectives
  9. Attention to detail, pride in quality work and the ability to work as part of a team is a must
  10. Ability to travel to local client locations
Supervisory Responsibility
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works in an office setting.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to type, file or lift office supplies up to 20 pounds. The employee is frequently required to stand, talk and hear.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a part-time non-exempt position with an expected 24-hour work week. There is flexibility with days and hours worked.
Additional Eligibility Qualifications
Spanish speaking is a plus
