Mathnasium Gives Back to Community, Hosts Four Math Nights

February 07, 2018

Burlington elementary school students and their families are having fun playing games, and in the process, are discovering that math can be fun! For the past 3 weeks, students from Pine Glen School, Fox Hill School, and Memorial School have enjoyed a fun night out with their families. They have played various card games, dice games, and other fun activities. More than 20 games are available, and designed for various ages. Snacks, a preschool art area, goody bags, and prizes are provided too! The events are sponsored by Mathnasium of Burlington/Lexington. Mathnasium's primary purpose for this charitable community event is to engage parents and children with math games to increase interest in math. When math is seen as fun, it becomes much easier to engage students in the learning process.

The last of the four elementary school Math Night events is scheduled for students of Francis Wyman School and their families on Tuesday, February 13th, 6:30pm-8:00pm.

Francis Wyman families can RSVP to BurlingtonLexington@mathnasium.com.

Local math learning centers Mathnasium of Burlington/Lexington and Acton/Concord are sponsoring the events in conjunction with Burlington Public Schools. With 40 years of proven method and more than 850 centers worldwide, Mathnasium is helping kids in grades K-12 understand math by teaching the way that makes sense to them.
