DESCRIPTION:The 10th Annual Committed to Curing NF Event takes place on Saturday\, November 2nd from 6:00-11:00 PM at Anthony's of Malden on 105 Canal Street\, Malden\, MA. The evening will feature dinner\, raffles and live and silent auctions. And\, back by popular demand there will be Casino Tables!\n\n\n\nProceeds benefit Burlington\, MA based non-profit Neurofibromatosis Northeast. The event will be hosted by Melissa and Mike Malerba of Medford in honor of their 12-year-old son Jonathan who was diagnosed with NF as a toddler. They hope to increase awareness about Neurofibromatosis and raise money for vital research.\n\n\n\nMelissa reflected on the 10-year anniversary of the event\, "Mike and I are so humbled by the amazing amount of love\, support\, and generosity that we have experienced these past ten years." "Without the help of our amazing "village" we know this event would not be possible."\n\n\n\n\n\nNeurofibromatosis (NF) is a genetic disorder of the nervous system that causes tumors to form on the nerves anywhere in or on the body at any time and affects three times as many people as cystic fibrosis and muscular dystrophy combined. Neurofibromatosis Northeast's mission is to find a treatment and the cure for neurofibromatosis by promoting scientific research\, creating awareness and supporting those who are affected by NF.
