DESCRIPTION:In an effort to deter improperly installed child safety seats\, certified technicians from Burlington\, Reading\, Stoneham\, Woburn\, Westford and Chelmsford Police Departments  are hosting a FREE Car Seat Safety Check Event on Saturday  June 20th  from 10 AM - 2 PM in the parking lot behind Macy's and the former Lord & Taylor building.\n\n\n\nDuring this family-focused event\, Nationally Certified Child Passenger Safety Technicians (CPSTs) will be on-site to provide free\, hands-on assistance.\n\n\n\nTechnicians will:\n\n\n	Inspect current car seats for proper sizing\, fit\, and any manufacturer recalls.\n	Assist parents and caregivers with step-by-step\, correct installation.\n	Educate families on how to safely harness their child on every ride.\n\nAll parents\, grandparents\, and expecting parents are invited to drop by.  No appointments are necessary for this event\; however\, participants are encouraged to bring their vehicle\, the car seat\, and the child's current weight and height.
