Shannon was not a life-long runner\; she began only 7 years ago after participating in a race for her mother that raised money for lung cancer. Since then\, she began to enjoy running\, and "really wanted to run for a charity"\, she said. In 2017\, she ran on behalf of 50 Legs\, an organization that assists injured people (Boston Marathon Bombing survivors in particular) in getting the proper prosthetics to properly heal and go forward with their daily activities. \n\n\n\n\n\nLunch will be sponsored by Sonia Rollins\, EXIT Premier Real Estate
