Goldberg is the Massachusetts State Treasurer and Receiver General. Treasurer Goldberg's goal is to ensure economic stability and opportunity for all Massachusetts residents. The office has supported women by undertaking initiatives to establish wage equality\, break down barriers in STEM fields and create access to the necessary financial skills to navigate a complex world. These programs are designed to reach across ethnic and diverse communities to have a broad impact on women and their families.\n\n\n\nTreasurer Goldberg's professional experience ranges from involvement in numerous philanthropic activities\, to working in retail operations\, buying and consumer affairs for The Stop & Shop Companies\, Inc.  She also served for six years on the Brookline Board of Selectmen\, including two as its Chair.  In 2015\, she established the new Office of Economic Empowerment\, the first of its kind in the country\, and chairs its Economic Empowerment Trust Fund. Treasurer Goldberg currently serves on the Executive Committee of the National Association of State Treasurers.\n\n\n\nA graduate of Boston University\, Boston College Law School\, and Harvard Business School\, Ms. Goldberg lives in Brookline with her husband Michael Winter and their son\, Evan\, and daughter\, Meredith.
