AFC Urgent Care Supports Local Families & Small Businesses in NeedAFC Urgent Care Supports Local Families & Small Businesses in Need

Amid record numbers of Covid testing and the rollout of the vaccine, Dave Adams saw his staff rise to the occasion to meet the overwhelming demand of the communities they serve.  The former Marine Captain and President of AFC Urgent Care Burlington, also saw the challenges of families with food insecurity and the plight of small businesses suffering with the losses of business and wanted to help.

Knowing the BACC had the local knowledge and connections, AFC Urgent Care made a generous donation and asked that the funds were utilized to feed local families through the patronage of locally owned small businesses.  The BACC partnered with HELPIS and Burlington Womenade to purchase gift cards from 10 local businesses and distribute them to needy families.

BACC President Rick Parker commented “This is what makes our community so special.  Despite the monumental challenges that we have each faced during the pandemic, there are organizations both large and small that go above and beyond.  I am extremely grateful that we have great business and community partners that step up in times of need.”

A special thanks to Dave and his staff at AFC Urgent Care for their continued support and generosity.
