Minuteman Senior Services is seeking an experienced and collaborative HR Business Partner to join our People & Culture team. Reporting to the Vice President of People & Culture, this role serves as a trusted advisor to managers and employees and will play a key role in helping advance employee engagement, talent development, workforce planning, succession planning, and organizational effectiveness initiatives across the agency.

This is an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources professional who enjoys building as much as supporting. As our People & Culture function continues to evolve, you will partner closely with the Vice President of People & Culture to help develop and implement strategies, programs, and processes that strengthen the employee experience and support our Healthy Workforce goals. What You'll Do:

Partner with Leaders

  • Serve as a trusted HR advisor to managers and employees.

  • Provide guidance on employee relations, performance management, coaching, and workplace concerns.

  • Support leaders in building engaged, high-performing teams.

Enhance Employee Engagement & Culture

  • Support employee engagement initiatives, surveys, and action planning.

  • Analyze workforce trends and recommend strategies to improve retention and employee experience.

  • Promote an inclusive, collaborative, and mission-driven workplace culture.

Develop Talent

  • Partner with leaders to identify employee development opportunities and skill gaps.

  • Support career pathway, leadership development, and learning initiatives.

  • Assist with performance management processes and employee growth planning.

Support Workforce Planning

  • Participate in workforce planning and succession planning efforts.

  • Help identify critical talent needs and build internal leadership pipelines.

  • Contribute to organizational effectiveness and change management initiatives.

Ensure Compliance & Best Practices

  • Conduct workplace investigations and support policy implementation.

  • Help ensure compliance with employment laws and HR best practices.

Pay Range Disclosure: 

In accordance with the Massachusetts Wage Transparency Act, the pay range for this position reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay at the time of posting. Final compensation will depend on the candidate’s experience, skills, and alignment with the role’s responsibilities.

Qualifications

What We're Looking For:

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in a Human Resources Business Partner role or a similar position providing strategic HR support to leaders and employees. Comparable titles may include Human Resources Manager, Employee Relations Manager, Human Resources Consultant, Organizational Development Partner, or similar roles.

  • Five (5) or more years of progressive Human Resources experience, including employee relations, performance management, manager coaching, workplace investigations, and talent development.

  • Demonstrated experience advising and supporting managers on people-related matters and building strong working relationships across an organization.

  • Experience in supporting some, if not all, areas of employee engagement, workforce planning, succession planning, learning and development, and/or organizational effectiveness initiatives.

  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and Human Resources best practices.

  • Excellent communication, relationship-building, coaching, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to analyze information, identify trends, and make sound recommendations that support organizational goals.

  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, SPHR, or similar certification is a plus, but not required.

  • A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Organizational Development, or a related field is preferred. Equivalent combinations of relevant professional experience, certifications, training, and demonstrated expertise will be considered.
