Volunteer Opportunities at Boys & Girls Club of Woburn
Volunteering at the Club
Volunteers are truly the lifeblood of the James L. McKeown Boys & Girls Club of Woburn. There are a number of ways you can help further the Club’s mission of inspiring youth to find their greatness.
Please note that our membership is youth & teens 18 years and younger and all volunteers must be individuals that are over the age of 18.
Current Individual Opportunities
Enrichment Volunteers: Do you have a passion or skill you want to share with youth & teens at the Club? Work with Club staff to bring that to life via a weekly program or special event. We can work together to match your interests to the need of the Club. Past enrichment volunteers have taught classes in dance, art & crafts, cooking, sewing and yoga!
Basketball Coaches: Support our members through volunteering as a basketball for our winter, intramural, instructional leagues. For youth in 2nd-8th grade, looking to learn the game and have some friendly competition! Time commitment is 2 hours, a weekly 1 hour practice and a weekly 1 hour game.

Group Opportunities
We always welcome corporate and other groups seeking service opportunities to volunteer at our Club. In one afternoon, a motivated group can transform a program space or engage a group of youth in a special activity. If you are a corporation, organization, or group looking for a volunteer opportunity, please email Meg Gambale at m.gambale@bgcwoburn.org!
