Sara-Jane Griffin
After 24 years, Sara-Jane left her middle school English teaching position in 2022 and started at NF Northeast the very next week. She has not looked back since. Sara-Jane enjoys finding common connections among those she meets and bringing people together. She admires the strength and perseverance of the NF community. In her free time, Sara-Jane enjoys crafting of all kinds—she supplies the office with seasonal decorations and creates cards for all occasions. Her English cream golden retrievers Westen and Charlie keep her busy and entertained as well. Jenny McDonald
Jenny arrived at Neurofibromatosis Northeast in summer 2018 to restart her 15-year donor relations career, which had begun in higher education. At NF Northeast she gratefully records and acknowledges the generosity of the NF community. The tributes that arrive in the mail and through cyberspace each day are a testament to the dedication of so many to finding a cure for NF. Making sure those fighters know how much NF Northeast appreciates their efforts is an honor and a privilege. When not writing thank-you notes, Jenny spends her afternoons and evenings shuttling her high school-aged kids and their friends, all while trying to keep up with their various activities. She looks forward to relaxing with a good book at the end of the day.

Christi Shannon
I am a Burlington resident, married 15 years to my husband, David, and mother to three very active boys! It is very exciting to be working again, outside of the home, after working remotely for many years while my boys were young. Being a part of Neurofibromatosis NE, an organization who supports and advocates for individuals and families impacted by the disease, makes me very proud! I look forward to meeting other members of the chamber to share more about NFNE and our mission, and also to learn more about each of you!
