BACC Holds 2024 Spring Soirée and Annual Meeting

The Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce held its Spring Soirée and Annual Meeting on May 2nd at the Archer Hotel Burlington. This event is a seasonal celebration of membership and an opportunity to hear from BACC leadership, directors and sponsors.  Speakers recapped the successes of the previous year, calling attention to the Chambers ability to unite stakeholders and address post-pandemic business challenges. With more than 150 business professionals in attendance, members were able to see the full scope of the Chamber's work and the benefits of their advocacy.

The event included the business portion of the BACC's Annual Meeting, where the slate of officers were unanimously approved by the membership. Longtime Executive Committee member and Co-Chair, Sonia Rollins, passed the baton to Brendan Stapleton, Owner and Operator of Fitness Together Burlington, to assume the Co-Chair role with Bob Buckley of Riemer & Braunstein and we look forward to their leadership.  Sonia was lauded for her unwavering support of the BACC and was presented with an award for Outstanding Leadership from President Rick Parker and a coveted "Bubba Stik" from Co-Chair Bob Buckley.  Sonia will remain a Director and looks forward to continuing to bring her passion and energy to the board.



Following the official business of the annual meeting, the night continued with dessert and conversation in the Archer's beautiful function room.  Raffle basket winners were announced and the lucky recipients were thrilled with the magnitude of raffle baskets donated by generous BACC Members.  After a fun-filled evening of networking and celebration, it's safe to say that the event was a resounding success.  The BACC is extremely thankful for the commitment and participation of it's members and looks forward to building on the momentum throughout the year.
