LRTA Fare Free Pilot Program Extended Through End of June 2026
The LRTA has announced that the current Fare Free Pilot Program, which was introduced in October 2024, has been extended through June 30, 2026 for both Fixed Bus Route and Road Runner. (Fares may resume 7/1/2026 Subject to State Funding)
The LRTA wants to Thank Governor Maura Healey and Lieutenant Governor Kim Driscoll, as well as the Massachusetts State Legislature for funding this Fare Free Transportation Pilot Program that will greatly benefit our communities.
