Meet new Board Member Jeff Kuczynski

Jeff Kuczynski
Store Manager
Wegmans

How long have you been in your current career? Describe any promotions, and/or circumstances that led you to this career.
I have been with Wegmans Food Markets for 26 years, 13 of those years in New England, and 7 in our Burlington location. Having started in Rochester, NY as a cashier and Helping Hands employee, I have worked in several divisions, and many roles along the way. My most recent promotion was to Store Manager back in 2019.

What’s the most rewarding aspect of your position? What drives you to stay in this position?
There are several rewarding aspects of my position, and I am grateful for this opportunity, each day. I am fortunate to work for a company that understands the importance of being involved in the community, and encourages people throughout the organization to get involved. Wegmans operates off of five values that are the roots of everything we do in our company, one of them being making a difference in every community we serve. I thoroughly enjoy being an active member of the Burlington community, and serve not only my employees but my customers, as well.

How long have you been a BACC member? What has your experience been like with the chamber?
I have been a BACC member for four years. I have had an incredibly positive experience and enjoy being a part of continuously improving the town of Burlington.

What are some facts about yourself that people might not know?
I love old Ford cars and am currently restoring a 1967 Ford Galaxie. My grandfather was a car enthusiast, and worked at the Ford Stamping Plant in Buffalo, NY. This passion has been handed down through each generation and I hope that my boys carry this tradition on.
